Branding & Website
Australians for Mental Health is a grassroots movement of Australians who want a healthcare system where anyone with a mental illness gets the care they need, when they need it. There are 1.2 million Australians too unwell for primary care, but not unwell enough for state services, and 54% of Australians with diagnosable mental health conditions not receiving adequate support.
AFMH do some powerful work, however the previous brand and website didn’t reflect that, with a clunky non-user-friendly navigation. I came on board to help rebrand the movement and re-design the website, putting a focus on capturing more Australians to join the movement.
The look and feel of this rebrand weaved in a couple of directions as we refined exactly what the website goals were. We discovered that the top priorities were to get more people committed to the movement, and to face mental health reform with a professional, serious & strong approach. With this in mind we combined an approachable yet bold design.

"Working with Ashley was a smooth and easy process! She listened to our needs and was receptive to changes throughout the process, kept to deadlines and was great to work with. I would definitely work with Ashley again in the future."
